With 20 years of experience in Recruitment and Executive Search, Laura is passionate about matching the right people with the right jobs.  
 
She didn't have the easiest of starts, having lost her mum at 9 and being one of a triplet in a single-parent family. Nothing felt easy, but she quickly learnt to control the controllables and used any negatives as a driver to succeed. She attended university and started in recruitment, working for one of the world's largest recruitment businesses. Within 5 years she won her first award for top salesperson, and many followed since.  
 
From a young age, Laura has had to be independent, and after 20 years it was a natural progression from being an employed recruitment consultant, to setting up her own recruitment business in 2024. Especially as she is now a mum to a little boy and wants the flexibility to spend more time with him. 
 
Laura's drive and passion make her an excellent recruiter. She likes to truly understand the business and the candidate so that she can match both their needs. She focuses on mindset and vision, as those are the real drivers to succeed, and she will find people who aren't even looking. As her old director once put it: "Dedicated, passionate, entrepreneurial, an outside-of-the-box thinker and a little bit of crazy magic is what sums up Laura."

With a degree in International Business, 15 years' experience as an Export Sales Manager and 16 years of running her own business & career coaching practice, Inge knows what it takes to make a business successful. She also knows how to be happy, which is why she now helps people to be happy and successful at work.  
 
She grew up in the Netherlands with her parents running a textile business and was always taught to follow her own path. That led her to come to the UK in 1995 where she worked as an Export Sales Manager in a small engineering business. She got made redundant from that job in 2001 and then got divorced in 2002, which made her stop and take stock of her life. In 2004 she decided to take some time out and travel the world to 'find herself'. She spent time in Thailand and lived in Mexico for a year, teaching English to the Mayan community. Although she loved teaching, she missed business too much and in 2008 she took a friend's advice, trained as a business coach and set up her own coaching practice, Inge Dowden Coaching.  
 
Inge is fully qualified in Personal Coaching, Corporate & Executive Coaching, Small Business Coaching, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and DISC profiling and can offer coaching services to both business owners and those needing career coaching. With plenty of life and business experience, she can act as a sounding board, someone confidential to talk to and someone to hold you accountable. She delivers career coaching, executive coaching and team performance coaching.
